Exp Commercial allows you to earn money when you bring in productive new agents. You continue to earn when those agents bring in other producing agents….and so on for a total of 7 productive tiers.
No Territory Limitations – You must follow the laws of each state.
- Turf State: Does not allow out-of-state agents or brokers to conduct any business in their state, either in-person or remotely. In this situation, you can only refer your clients to a licensee of the turf state. UT, NM, NE, MO, KY, PA & NJ
- Physical Location: Unlike a Cooperative state, a state with a physical location real estate license portability law allows you to represent your client in an out of state purchase or sale, but you have to do so remotely, you can’t be in the physical location state you want to transact in.
CA, ID, MT, TX, AK, HI, OK, AR, MN, IA, WI, IL, MI, WV, VA, NY, MA, & ME - Cooperative: A Cooperative State allows out-of-state agents/brokers to enter their state to conduct real estate business in-person. The agent MUST have a co-brokerage agreement with a licensee in the cooperative state. The remainder states are under this category.
